It’s easy to just throw on a coat over your outfit this time of year, but I want to challenge you to think outside the box and experiment with layering! This is a recent look I styled from the winter selection from the Terra & Sky plus size collection @Walmart, and I’m loving how it came together. A classic plaid button down layered underneath a belted cardigan is an easy way to add interest + extra style points this season — and let’s not forget how a belt that cinches the waist can take any look up a couple notches, including a versatile sweater. 👌🏼 More of this look is in my story and links to shop what I’m wearing are in my bio. (I’m wearing a 1X in the top + jeggings, and I sized up to a 2X in the cardigan for a slouchier fit). #sponsored #terraandsky #girlwithcurves #layering #winteroutfits #belted #curvyoutfit #curvygirlstyle #curvygirlfashion #casualoutfits

Something we don’t talk about a lot is the financial privilege a lot of fashion bloggers have. Don’t go broke trying to keep up. Most of us receive everything we wear for free. When I started blogging I would spend my entire baby paycheck trying to serve ya looks. I thought that to look good I had to spend good money. If you notice the brands I wear I tend to stick to lower end brands because that’s what momma can afford. I say all of this just to remind ya that you can definitely style on these hoes with $20 pieces. Everything I’m wearing is about $20 or less. So don’t be fooled into buying shit you can’t afford. Wear Rainbow, Target, Forman Mills or anywhere you can get your deals. #brokegirlfashion
